Draft, pending legal review

This page is a working draft written from how the product handles data. A lawyer has not reviewed it, it is not legal advice, and it is not yet a binding agreement. Text in [square brackets] is still to be filled in.

Terms of Service

Draft of 2026-10-01

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name] ("we") for the use of Clip Harness: the web dashboard, the Delay Gate phone app, the desktop agent, the link redirector and the API. If you use Clip Harness for an organization, you accept them for that organization.

1. Accounts

  • Workspaces are opened by application; we may accept or decline an application.
  • The workspace owner is responsible for who they invite and for what their team does in Clip Harness.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at [security contact email] if you think your account has been misused.

2. What Clip Harness does

Clip Harness finds moments in your live stream, makes short clips, and publishes the clips that you or your team approve to the accounts you connect. A clip that is not approved before its timer runs out is kept as a draft and is not published. The kill switch stops clipping at once. These features help you, but they are automated and can make mistakes: review what is published under your name.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to your stream and clips. You let us process them only to provide Clip Harness to you: to analyze the stream, make and store clips, show them for review and publish them where you ask. You confirm you have the rights needed to publish what you approve, including any music, footage or people in it.

4. Platform terms

Publishing goes through each platform's official tools, so their rules apply too. By using the YouTube features of Clip Harness you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and when a clip is uploaded to YouTube you certify that it complies with them, including the YouTube Community Guidelines. When you use TikTok, Facebook or Instagram you must follow their terms and community rules. Platforms can limit or remove posts and accounts; we can't control that.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including what we receive from the platforms you connect.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't use Clip Harness to publish content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or breaks a platform's rules.
  • Don't try to get around rate limits, quotas or security controls, or access other workspaces.
  • Don't resell or share access to Clip Harness except to members of your own workspace.

6. Plans and billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled and are billed through our payment processor. Each plan has daily limits on clips and publishes. If a payment fails, the workspace has a grace period, and then clipping is paused until billing is fixed; reading your data and the kill switch keep working. [Prices, trial, cancellation, refund and failed-payment terms to be finalized with HITL H4.]

7. Local installs

The desktop agent runs on your own PC. You are responsible for that PC, its security and the clips stored on it, which Clip Harness does not delete automatically. Air-gapped installs export approved clips to a folder for you to post yourself.

8. Suspension and ending the service

You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms or doesn't pay. When a workspace is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

[Warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability and indemnity to be written on legal review.]

10. Governing law and disputes

[Governing law, venue and dispute terms to be written on legal review.]

11. Changes and contact

We will tell you before changes to these terms take effect. Questions: [contact email].
